The Adventures of Johnny Bunko: The Last Career Guide You'll Ever Need - an interactive presentation with Dan Pink, NY Times best-selling author of The Adventures of Johnny Bunko, A Whole New Mind and Free-Agent Nation. In this provocative and entertaining presentation, Dan will discuss the medium and the message of his latest book (www.johnnybunko.com), including how to convey ideas in a crowded, chaotic media landscape. And he'll discuss the book's six lessons - six crucial, creative and counterintuitive secrets to fashioning a successful and fulfilling career.
 
The presentation will be followed by a Creativity and Innovation Panel on Social Media with Dan and pioneering social media industry experts Nick O'Neill, founder of www.socialtimes.com, Jesse Thomas, CEO of www.jess3.com, and Frank Gruber, publisher of  www.somewhatfrank.com and founder of TechCocktail. Panel Moderator: DC's Marketing Navigator, Jeremy Epstein. Event Host: CCN founder Michelle James.

~ Program: 7:15 - 9:15
~ Socializing and book signing: 9:15 - however long you stay!


Food: hors d'oeuvres, savory desserts and delicious organic chocolate (donated by Fiddlers Chocolate) will be provided after the presentation
. In the spirit of creative choices, if you bring a dish to share then you will receive cash back at the door or a coupon for a free CCN event. Music: enjoy live background music with DC-based musicians as you eat, network and socialize.

Location & Directions:
Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) in Georgetown. Located on the ground floor of the Foundry Building
at 1055 Thomas Jefferson St., NW, Washington, DC 20007.

Parking:  By Metro: CDIA is a 12 minute walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro. By car: there is street parking and several lots in the area. Convenient parking directly underneath the Foundry building. The Foundry parking garage in on the right on 30th between M and K. To get there - turn off M St. onto 30th (going down toward the waterfront). Once there, go up to the M (Mall) level and turn right once off the elevator. You can park there all evening (after 5:00pm) for only $10.
